Do you have an excuse…..
Prompted by a very pertinent comment someone left on an earlier post.
I honestly don’t really believe too much in them.
Fact is everything I’ve ever seen that someone’s used as an excuse, someone else has overcome and found a solution.
An excuse is simply a problem. A problem that changes your scenario. That’s all. YOU, yes you, that very unique and individual human being have a different scenario. Some may call it adversity.
a difficult or unpleasant situation.”resilience in the face of adversity”
Some people are resilient. Some people accept the situation and allow it to dictate their outcome.
This is the time you need to solve the problem but the problem still remains . It’s like the emails in your inbox. Leave them or address them.
Problems, you can choose to address them or ignore them and hope they go away.
Hope didn’t really get anyone anywhere did it.
Develop a work ethic and you’ll deal with them and put the time in to resolve the problem.
The outcome may have limitations or simply no solution of course. In which case it’s fairly obvious and you move on. You work around it and accept it. What else are you gonna do? Dwell on it?
If you can’t control it. Don’t try to. Accept it and deal with it in the best fashion you can. Don’t dwell on it, don’t let it consume you.
Problems of great magnitude may take thousands of people hundreds of years to solve. Their lives are spent trying to solve singular problems but are never put off, demotivated or lose sight of what they’re trying to do.
Some of your problems take days, weeks, months, even years but persist.
You got this!
