Three simple tips that may change your personal training business
1. Average age of a prospective client is higher than the average PT. If you don’t instigate a conversation with them chances are they won’t relate to you one bit. If they can’t relate to you and you can’t relate to them don’t be surprised when they don’t come to you for PT.
PT is like dating. You can stand there without instigating a conversation hoping that the one person in the room you like will come and talk to YOU.
If someone doesn’t like you they more than likely won’t employ you. Irrespective of how ‘ripped’ you are.
2. Most people can’t stand arrogance or ego. Think about it. PT clients want humility, understanding and someone who doesn’t make them feel physically inferior.
3. Some of you are underpricing and undervaluing yourself. A lot of people have had BAD PT experiences therefore if your price aligns with them they will more than likely expect the same.
Going on point 2. If you’re genuinely good at what you do maybe you should charge respectively.
